About Rolo Secure Chat

Rolo is a business oriented secure messaging platform. The application aims to be a complete communication tool, offering features such as video conferencing and file sharing. Security is one one of our primary focuses, and we partnered with BlackBerry to build a fully end-to-end encrypted messaging layer. Our aim is to become the leading application for business messaging. We have released a first public version of the application and just finished a round of fundraising.

Your job

  • Work with the Rolo marketing and customer service team to excite, educate and help potential and existing Rolo users around the world
  • Daily tasks would revolve around responding to questions from users across social media and support channels, including identifying the causes of their issues and communicating newly discovered bugs with Rolo’s development team
  • You would also create, update and translate the Rolo knowledge base, website and other materials/content that improve the ability to serve Rolo’s customers
  • Additionally, you would help with the strategizing and implementation of marketing activities

Minimum requirements

  • Native fluency and grammatically correct written output in at least 2 languages from our list of desired languages (Chinese, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese)
  • Warm and friendly personality, with a desire to help others
  • Tech-savvy and easy to understand and explain technical concepts

Preferred experience

  • Worked in a customer service role and/or social media role
  • Experience using WYSIWYG website builders and/or Content Management Systems
  • Video editing skills
  • Good on-screen/audio presence for hosting videos, podcasts, or live events.Experienced using Jira

Recruitment process

  1. Introduction interview with hiring manager (5-15 min)
  2. Technical interview with the team lead (1h)
  3. Technical test (small task to do at home within a week)
  4. Final interview with the management team (30min)
